        Apostles Lutheran Church Preschool Registration Form

Registration for the 2010-2011 school year is open for current students, and members of Apostles . Registration  will open to the community  March 1.  If your child will be 4 prior to September 1, 2010, he/she will qualify for our VPK program financed by the State of Florida.   There is no tuition for this program. (There will be a $85.00 registration fee to ensure your child's place.)  However, your child must attend 5 days a week for the entire school year to remain in this program.  Classes are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There is a nominal $50.00/month fee for this extra hour/day of instruction.

A limited enrollment is also available for children who will be 3 prior to September 1. 2010.  These children  will attend on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. There will be a $85.00 registration fee to ensure your child's place.  Tuition is $160.00 per month for 3 yr. old students.

Children MUST be COMPLETELY Potty Trained by AUGUST 2010 to attend ALC Preschool.

We will also offer Extended Care from 1:00PM - 4:00PM.

Apostles has had a Christian-based preschool education program for over fifteen years.  Our Preschool Director, Sandra Sornson, is a fellow member of Apostles. She has spent her entire professional career in preschools. We are delighted to have Sandy at our preschool and look forward to many more successful years.

We collect Campbell’s Soup labels!  Just save the label and place in the preschool mailbox.  We receive points which can be applied towards purchasing materials for the classroom.

                     Philosophy

Apostles Lutheran Preschool believes that children learn by doing. We place an emphasis on an environment that nurtures the whole child by providing opportunities for interaction and socialization through play, hands-on experiences, and creative expression. The preschool curriculum and its environment is also designed and implemented to meet  the Florida VPK Education Standards.

Weekly Chapel services and basic Christian values evident in the classroom help to guide and direct the spiritual growth of each child. In an atmosphere of relaxed and caring competence, our children are encouraged to learn through success, not failure. Highlights of our program include:
